It’s possible to add buoyancy at the top of the sail (not including in the sail price) – different types of buoyancy possible to place in between 2 eyelets. Modification on the boat  : This sails does not need big modification  : haul system + cleat: 

 

To be able to use the 2 reefs easily but in order to keep a good shape with an adequate tension in the halyard, we recommend to use a pulley system: fix the halyard at the top of the mast (use the hook hole for example), then go down in the head of the sail (block + shackle fixed to the sail), then return at the top of the mast as normal halyard way via the normal sheave and goes down to mast foot. You need to add a cleat there to fix the halyard and manage it easily. And the halyard must be long and strong in spectra and 25m long !
